Through those who believe in Jesus, God can still deliver us from various addictions and diseases.

Some people are bound by evil spirits and Jesus has commanded us to cast out all evil spirits.

Luke 7:21-22

Right then, Jesus healed many from diseases, plagues and evil spirits, and many blind people regained their sight. He answered them: ”Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: The blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news preached.”
